Quick installation
==================

Build prerequisites:
- development for OpenLDAP or an LDAP SDK and libraries
- GNOME development libraries

type ./configure
type make
type make install

that's it.  If you have an RPM-based system, it's advisable
to use existing RPMs or build your own RPMs

Of course, you need to have a directory server up and running.

For Directory administrator to work with your directory server,
either disable schema checking (not advisable) or follow the
instructions in the file server_setup.txt in the doc/ directory

To configure a client to work with your directory server,
follow the instructions in the file client_setup.txt in the doc/
directory

There are RPMs freely available.
