
WARNING: xmp was tested using gcc 2.7.2. gcc 2.5.x will NOT work. Other
    compilers may work as long as they use "packed" data structures.

NOTE FOR AWE-32 USERS: AWE-32 users must install awedrv before compiling
    xmp. The noncommercial version of the AWE-32 driver can be found at
    http://bahamut.mm.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~iwai/awedrv. The commercial version
    for OSS can be found at http://www.4front-tech.com/awe32.html.

In my Linux box (100 MHz DX4, kernel 2.0.27 and OSS/Free (USS/Lite) 3.5.4)
with a standard GF1 Gravis Ultrasound I got the following results:
